Background:
Hi, my name is Ben, also known as the RoadSurvivalist on Instagram. I work as a photographer and I'm currently based in Berlin, Germany.
Before I got into everyday carry, I was into survival and bushcraft. It was from those same principles and ethos of preparedness that led me to the realm of everyday carry. Eventually, the idea of having a well-rounded everyday carry became an important part of my overall preparedness, along with my other preparation and outdoor gear.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time and hiking in the great outdoors (which explains my love for bushcraft and survival). I also love traveling, skiing, all things car-related, as well as making beautiful images through my photography.
Favorite EDC Tool:
My most favorite piece? That’s a hard one. If I were pressed, I will say that it's probably my Almknives Victorinox conversion. It's a truly unique piece and it’s irreplaceable.
