Adhering strictly to his “less is more” mantra, the Ohta FK7 features an extended tang that serves as a convenient deployment method. When open, the tang sits within the spine of the handle while your grip closes around it. This prevents the knife from closing during use. There are no fancy accouterments or unnecessary features - just a time-tested and field-proven design that works.
The blade is a functional drop point shape with a gorgeous satin finish, made from D2 tool steel - which is easy to sharpen and maintain while being unfailingly reliable.
