Boker Plus Burnley Kihon
The Boker Plus Kihon is the production version of the popular Lucas Burnley Kihon Custom. Most knife enthusiasts will know Lucas Burnley as the creator of the Kwaiken folders. The word Kihon is a Japanese term meaning “fundamentals”. The term is used to refer to the techniques that are taught and practised as the foundation of most Japanese martial arts. And in the Boker Plus Kihon, we see a beautifully minimal pocket knife that extolls the values of simplicity and refinement.
The robust Boker Plus Kihon features a titanium frame lock construction. It also comes with a slightly wider blade profile, which adds to its versatility. It is both a tactical blade as well as a highly capable everyday carry utility knife.
The blade steel uses cobalt-alloyed VG10, which holds an edge exceptionally well while being highly corrosion resistant. The ball-bearing pivot ensures silky-smooth, friction-free flipping, while the lock stop limits the travel of the frame lock actuator.
If you’re a fan of Lucas Burnley’s incredible designs, and want to get a taste of his work without shelling out the big bucks and going through a long wait, the Boker Plus Kihon is the perfect way to experience his artistry.
