Chris Reeve Sikayo 6.5" Chef Knife

For the EDC Master Chef

The knife is the heart and soul of the kitchen. And that's why for the better part of 25 years, Chris Reeve has been tinkering with designs of kitchen knives. At long last, the Chris and team have created something worth bearing the CRK namesake. We are proud to present you with the Sikayo Chef Knife.

Sikayo is the Zulu word for "sharp," just like how the Mnandi means "very nice" and Sebenza means "work." It combines influences from traditional Japanese sushi knives, modern-day materials, and the signature CRK focus to functionality to create a whole new kind of kitchen knife.

Immediately noticeable is the broad asymmetrical chisel-edge S35VN blade that is ground only on one side for enhanced slicing performance. In addition, the generous curve and belly of the cutting edge allow for easy cutting with minimal effort, while also facilitating "rocking" and "dicing" cuts for vegetable and herbs.

Built for everyday performance, the handles are made from UItem1000, which is an exceptionally durable plastic capable of withstanding extreme temperatures in the heat of the kitchen. What's more, the handle slab in contact with your palm is thicker than on the other side, allowing for a fuller and more comfortable grip in hand.

Sharp in both style and function, the Chris Reeve Knives Sikayo 6.5" Chef Knife is the culmination of decades of experience and expertise. If you're looking to cook up a veritable storm in the kitchen, it's time to sharpen your game with the Sikayo.
