South African Pride
Growing up in the Western Transvaal and Cape province of South Africa – knives, catapult, slingshots, and the occasional black powder bomb were all things that Jaco de Kock grew up playing with.
Combining that with his time serving in the old South African Defence force, Jaco brings real-world sensibilities and a unique design language in the creation of the unmistakable Jaco de Kock PL1 Mini.
Designed as a compact EDC blade, the PL1 Mini features a razor-sharp 2.91" M390 blade that falls under the legal carry rules in most places (as always, double check your knife laws). The blade comes with an intricate distal taper and swedge that allows it to excel in all manner of slicing tasks.
While compact, the PL1 Mini comes equipped with an elongated, full-sized handle with full titanium scales supplemented by an equally robust titanium frame lock mechanism.
Caged internal bearings and a sculpted pocket clip bring this one-of-a-kind package together. If you're on the hunt for a compact yet amazingly refined EDC folder, the Jaco de Kock PL1 Mini is definitely a top contender in every way, shape and form.
