Maverick Workshop "Tread" Bead
Custom Grade Lanyard Beads
The Maverick Workshop lanyard beads are the perfect addition to your favorite knife or flashlight. Not only do they add a touch of flair and personality to your daily carry - they are also highly functional and practical.
Having a lanyard bead on your knife or flashlight makes it easier to fish out of your pocket, as the bead serves as an anchor point to grab hold of.
Using lanyard with a bead on your knife also helps with grip because it provides additional length for your hand to grab on to. And if you have a lanyard that is long enough to loop around your wrist, the lanyard bead helps to cinch the lanyard tightly around your wrist for added security.
Each bead is individually machined in California by Greg Gutierrez, who has been leading the engineering and development of Swiss-made watches for Oakley. He brings his attention to detail and engineering background to his own creations at Maverick Workshop. These lanyard beads are works of art that are both highly functional and truly exquisite.
These beads feature the intricate "Tread" design, and are machined from a variety of materials and colors to suit your every need.
If you want something that will patina beautifully with time, go for either the copper or brass bead. Both options have a pleasant heft and solidity, although the copper bead will develop a patina faster than the brass bead.
The solid Delrin (engineered thermoplastic) is the most lightweight option. It's incredibly strong, durable and will not add any weight to your carry.
For the best of both worlds, you'll want the Titanium Etched bead because Titanium has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of all metals.
