Individually hand-carved and finished, the Mercurious Designs Carved Pool Ball Set features 3 skulls (balls 6, 9 and 15) in place of the traditional monkeys. The three wise skulls serve as a timely memento mori and also symbolize how we should be good of mind, speech and action – or suffer the dire consequences. And perhaps the pool ball reference is a subtle nod to the fact that all of life is a game, and that we shouldn’t take ourselves so seriously.
