Happy Halloween! This week's edition features Najjib (@leatherbrasscopper) from Tasmania, Australia. And yes, we chose this photo for the festive pumpkin colored Field Notes and the skull-shaped bottle opener! :)

Featured Tools:

Pen: Karas Kustoms Brass Bolt Pen
Bottle opener: Burnley Cypop Stainless Steel 333
Notebook: Field Notes Expedition
Flashlight: McGizmo Haiku
Bracelet: Ewing Dry Goods Wolf Claw Cuff
Bottle opener: Santi Se Cutie
Wallet: Tanner Goods
Knife: Chris Reeves Star-Benza

Background:

Living in Tasmania, Australia, Najjib keeps himself busy working on a couple different things. He's currently halfway through his PhD program on snakes and integrated pest management, and also plans to open a healthy superfoods takeout store very soon. Najjib also repurposes skulls and bones to make them into planters!

Favorite EDC Tool:

Najjib's favorite item is his Karas Kustoms brass bolt pen. He tells us that it's something that can serve as both an unassuming writing tool and a self protection instrument. Although it can be a bit heavy at times, Najjib says that once this pen is in his denim pocket he can hardly notice it. Like many of his other leather pieces, it has developed a nice patina now, which reflects the journey that it has taken along with him.
