Monterey Bay Knives EZC - CruWear

As clean as it gets

Named after their home base, Monterey Bay Knives is a passion project founded by custom knife maker, Ray Laconico in collaboration with Carmel Cutlery and Kizer – and the goal is to create the most beautiful and high-end production knives of their own designs.

"EZC" stands for "easy carry", and the Monterey Bay Knives EZC lives and breathes this ethos. Reminiscent of the Ray Laconico Jasmine and Yorkie, the Monterey Bay Knives EZC eschews any unnecessary details, and features the same clean, flowing lines that Ray is world renown for.

Effortlessly clean and minimal, the Monterey Bay Knives EZC features an CruWear drop point blade with a gorgeous grind, along with a black PVD coating for enhanced durability. CruWear is an upgrade on the classic D2 tool steel, and has better wear resistance, greater toughness, and higher attainable hardness.

Designed for maximum utility, the solid titanium handles with lightweight micarta scales offer maximum strength-to-weight ratio with exceptional proportions – providing ample grip and control, while keeping things lightweight.

Simple but no simpler, with the cleanest lines and grind – the Monterey Bay Knives EZC will stand the test of time and trends, and will be the perfect companion for every imaginable scenario.
