For those in the know, especially traditional knife enthusiasts, the ‘Krein’ name would be a familiar one. Renowned for his ‘Krein regrinds’ and exquisite fixed blades, Tom has been honing his craft since 1993 and has worked with knifemaking legends such as Bob Dozier and the late and great A.G. Russell.

The Krein Nomad is one of Tom's latest creations and is a medium-sized, full-tang fixed blade that is both incredibly robust and durable. It features a hand-ground, acid-washed, D2 steel blade with a high hollow grind (as you would expect from Tom) that cuts like a demon on steroids. Some have highlighted the Persian influence of this particular blade grind, which spots a distinct taper and an almost full-length swedge on the spine. Definitely, something you don't see often.

The handles are no less impressive with their ergonomic contours and gorgeous Green Linen Micarta which is amazingly tough, corrosion-resistant, and virtually indestructible. It even features black micarta pins! As always, the Krein Nomad comes with a custom-fit Kydex sheath for easy carrying.
