On this week's Urban EDC Showcase, we talk to Daniel (@mr.frost77) from Västerås, Sweden. He's a Forklift Operator at a distribution warehouse for tobacco. How did he get into EDC? Read on to get the full gear rundown and more!
Knife: Spyderco Techno
Notebook: Field Notes
Flashlight: Thrunite Ti
Multi-Tool: Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Alox Cadet
Bottle Opener: Titanium G5 Bandicoot
Pen: Fisher Space Pen
Trinket: Luckyfatman Talisman
Aside from his work, Daniel tells us that he enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking and fishing for large pike. He also enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and 3 daughters.
Daniel tells us that he got into EDC without even knowing what EDC was. Having been gifted a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife from his grandfather some 30 years ago, he has been slowly upgrading to different knives and flashlights ever since. About three or four years ago, Daniel discovered the growing EDC community on Instagram and he's been pulled into all sorts of other EDC gear since then.
Favorite EDC Tool:
Daniel had a tough time answering this question. Although he loves his Spyderco Techno knife, ultimately he chose to go with his Victorinox Cadet for its versatility, and sentimental value of the very first knife his grandfather gave him that got him into EDC in the first place.
