A modern man of science and style, Frank (@instafr4nk) works in the field of biomedical research. Newly based in New Jersey and having grown up in Europe, he enjoys the outdoors, especially hiking and bird-watching. I am a scientist working in biomedical research. I was born in the US but grew up mostly in Europe. After living in Canada for the past 7 years, we recently moved to New Jersey.
I have been into Swiss Army Knives and all kinds of cool gear and gadgets since I was a kid. I only discovered the term "everyday carry" about 7 years ago when I started my journey into the EDC world on different forums and continued later on Facebook and Instagram.
I spend most of my free time with my three kids. I love being outdoors, especially hiking and bird watching. At home, I enjoy cooking and drinking craft beer.
Favorite EDC Tool:
Among all the EDC items pens are always my favorite, also because I get to use them more often than my knives, whether it is at work or home. I always carry a pen with me and from all the pens I own the Minipens are the ones I carry the most.
What's On Your Gear Radar:
The two knives that have been on my wishlist for a long time are the Spyderco Kapara and the Fox Knives Suru.
