Featured Tools:
Wallet: Recycled Firefighter Sergeant
The Sergeant Wallet is my favorite from the Recycled Firefighter product line. It's so simple and holds everything I need in a compact package. (Fun fact: I actually work with Recycled Firefighter to create a lot of content for them… they're a great company.)
Knife: Spyderco Paramilitary
This has been my favorite EDC Knife for a couple of years now. It’s incredibly smooth, holds a killer edge and has the best tip of any knife I've ever tried (which is fantastic for opening packages & normal EDC tasks).
Phone: iPhone
I do a ton of social media work for myself and clients on any given day. So, my phone gets used a lot. I also transfer a lot of images from my Fujifilm XT20 and edit them on-the-go with my iPhone + Lightroom Mobile.
Background:
My name is Anthony Roe (I go by AnthonyAwaken online) and I'm based in South Central Kentucky. I’m a full-time creative specializing in web, design, photography and content creation.
My work is my biggest hobby, lol... I just love creating new things. But I also love anything to do with the outdoors… hiking, camping, bushcraft, etc.
I spend a lot of my personal time studying more about photography, lighting, and things to do with that area of my life. I also spend a ton of time with my wife and 4 kids.
EDC started at a really young age for me. My dad gave me my first Case Knife when I was 4 or 5 and I fell in love with carrying knives from there. But I started taking my Everyday Carry very seriously about 3 to 4 years ago when I began working with Recycled Firefighter and creating content with them.
Favorite EDC Tool:
I would say the Spyderco Paramilitary has been my favorite EDC item for the longest time... But, as you can tell, my EDC is very minimal and I only carry my favorite items. Each item has its own specific purpose in my everyday carry and I couldn't imagine not having any of them.
What's On Your Gear Radar:
I'm honestly dying for 2 things right now:
