When it comes to custom slip joint knives, Ryuichi Kawamura ranks right up there with the very best of them. Epitomizing his philosophy of “slow made”, this one-of-a-kind Congress Jack is an exemplary showcase of Ryuichi’s legendary craftsmanship and fanatical attention to detail.

Based on the classic Congress pattern, the Congress Jack "Remington 423" features a larger main coping blade along with a smaller pen blade for precision tasks. Both blades are made from ATS-34 which has excellent edge-retention properties along with superb hardness. In addition, the blades are hand-rubbed to perfection as expected from Ryuichi Kawamura.

Equally breathtaking, the handles feature some of the finest examples of handpicked Sambar Stag. Full of depth, color, and character, the Sambar Stag handles will gently develop a gorgeous patina with extended time and use. Fluted, hand-rubbed stainless-steel bolsters top off this mesmerizingly beautiful classic slip joint.
